No. Tidal Oak is a dry-hire service, so you supply the alcohol and we bring the professional bartenders, mixers, ice, cups, garnishes, full setup and clean-up. We’ll give you a simple shopping list so you know what to buy.
It depends on your package. If spirits will be served (Tidal Signature or Oak & Tide Reserve), North Carolina requires you, as the host, to get a Limited Special Occasion Permit from the NC ABC Commission. It costs $50 and must be submitted at least 14 days before your event. We recommend applying 3 to 4 weeks ahead, and we’ll ask for a copy of your approved permit at least 2 weeks before your event.
If only beer and unfortified wine are served free to guests 21 and older with the venue owner’s permission (Tidal Social), no ABC permit is generally required.

Yes. Pure Tide is a full mocktail bar with no alcohol brought, stored or served, so it’s ideal for birthdays, graduations and family events, and no permit is needed.
We serve New Bern and the surrounding Craven and Carteret County area, including Havelock, Morehead City and Beaufort. Travel fees may apply depending on your venue’s distance, and we’ll include them in your quote.
Yes. Tidal Oak Spirits LLC carries liability insurance for our event services, and we can send a certificate of insurance to your venue on request.
